“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”
There is no racial division in those words. No animus. No elitism that one man should stand above another. Our Father. Yours. Mine.
What follows is the four hardest words in the Bible for Man to say honestly.
“Your will be done.”
Not my will. Not your will. His will. The only way to say those words honestly is with humility. To say them and mean them, the knee must bow.
“As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.”
That scripture speaks of the time just after Christ returns. America has forgotten that it is much simpler to bow the knee now than it will be then. Oh. Much simpler.
